This recipe should make about 2-3 large cups of hot tea per serving.

5 cups Water
Brown Sugar
Lemon (optional)

Step 1 – Cut an inch thick of ginger from a large root
Step 2 – Scoop the outside layer off with a spoon, or you can cut it with a knife
Step 3 – In a large pot place the water and ginger together at medium heat
Step 4 – Once it has come to a boil shut off and cover for 20 minutes
Step 5 – Place ginger tea into your cup go choice then add the juice of a lemon and a spoon for a brown sugar
