For all you coffee cake lovers, this is it.

Need I say more…

:: INGREDIENTS ::

-Cake-

1 stick Butter, soft

3/4 cup Sugar

1 tsp Maple Syrup

1 Egg

_

2 cup Flour

2 tsp Baking Powder

Pinch of Salt

–

3/4 cup Milk

–

-Filling-

3 tbsp Butter, soft

1 tbsp Cinnamon

1/2 cup Flour

1 cup Brown Sugar

–

-Crumble Topping-

5 tbsp Butter, soft

3/4 cup Flour

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1 tbsp Cinnamon

–

:: INSTRUCTIONS ::

Step 1 – First we create the cake mixture in a Kitchen Aid by creaming the butter until it’s a light fluffy texture

Step 2 – One at a time add the sugar, syrup, and egg to butter mixture

Step 3 – In a separate bowl whisk dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt)

Step 4 – Slowly interchange adding the dry ingredients & milk into the butter mixture

Step 5 – When done set aside ‘Cake Mixture‘

Step 6 – In another bowl cream together the ‘Filling Mix‘ and set aside

Step 7 – In a totally separate bowl cream together ‘Topping‘ ingredients then set aside

Step 8 – Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 9 – Butter a bread pan and add half the Cake Mixture spreading it out with a spatula, corner to corner

Step 10 – Add your Filling mixture on top

Step 11 – Spread the remaining mixture of the cake batter on top of the filling layer

Step 12 – Finally sprinkle the crumb topping to your cake

Step 13 –  Place your cake in the oven when preheated and bake for 50 minutes to an hour

(Until the knife comes out clean)

Slice that baby up and enjoy it with a hot cup of coffee!
